Yeah, this is comic 10 now. I’ve reorganized the comics so that the storyline comics are numbered by themselves. It’s all explained on our super cool website that you should totally check out.

Playing around with Rock’s personality and quirks. Let’s be honest though: Classic Megaman’s Robot Masters were dumb. I’ll grant you, there were some silly ones in MMX (Cyber Peacock and Pandemonium Panda come to mind), but CMM takes the cake. This silliness really only started to stick out around MMZ and MMZX, when the bosses all had darker personalities and were much more vicious. 

Also, that stapler is a masterpiece of propwork. I’m expecting a call from Universal or 20th Century’s props department any day. 

On another note, I just got a nice black label copy of X4 to replace my crappy disc-only green label one, as well as a complete copy of the first Mega Man Game Boy game. I think I’ll do a retrospective write-up thing with pictures of one of the older Mega Man games soon, if anyone would care for that.

Comic 14: And if That Doesn’t Work? Use More Gun.

Jorg really pulled out all the stops for this one. Ever since the April 1 semi-resurrection of Toonami, we had been wanting to do a Toonami joke, but weren’t quite sure how. Then Vile showed up.

Maverick Hunting Season: Portable Mega Man drawing!

To help spread the word about Maverick hunting Season, we’re holding a drawing. There will be three prizes:

1. Maverick Hunter X (a 3D remake of Megaman X for the PSP with anime cutscenes)
2. Megaman and Bass & manual (a GBA game of the Japanese Super Famicon game of the same name. It was the first time Bass was playable in a Main series game.)
3. Megaman Xtreme (a game boy/game boy color game that takes place inbetween Megaman X 1 and 2. It features excellent game boy versions of classic stages and music and is personally my favorite of the three.)

How to enter:

• First, reblog this post on your blog. Include in the message when you reblog this which of the three games you are entering for. Please, only one prize per person entering.
• Then, for every one of our 13 Maverick Hunting Season comics so far, as well as any that come out before the drawing is done, you reblog, you get an entry.
• We’ll then use a random number generator to find the winners for each prize.
• I get that there is a possibility that some people may use multiple accounts, ask blogs and such, to get an advantage. I will do what I can to prevent this, like randomly check for tumblrs made just for this contest, but I apologize for not being able to do much more than that.
• The winners will be announced on our website, www.maverickseason.com, on Monday the 7th. There will be a post about it on our tumblr, but the winners will be announced on the site. The winners will then be contacted for mailing address. Shipping is free.
• Please, only residents of the US and Canada. If you are somewhere else, you will have to pay shipping via Paypal.

Sorry, Jorg’s comic is delayed until Tuesday, so instead you get Rock shenanigans. Thanks to everyone for going to the website! It’s a great help for us to gauge our audience and get feedback.
